The Rev. James Cochrane

James is married to Heather and they have two adult daughters and a dog called Vasco. James joined us in 2024, after 22 years of church planting in Brazil (1996-2003) and Portugal (2008-2023). As well as traveling and experiencing new cultures, James enjoys following Irish rugby, going on short runs and the odd game of golf.  

 James is passionate about helping people understand the Bible clearly so that they can fully appreciate the wonderful good news of Jesus and be equipped to live as His disciples in the world. James continues his interest and involvement for church planting by teaching and mentoring church planters through City to City Belfast.
